Technical Signs are known for their hard work in the office, but now the ‘Flossy Possy’ are taking things to new heights in the Lake District!
Made up of Natalie, Amy, Jackie and Aurora, the team of strong ladies are facing a challenge that to most is impossible, and they need your help!
The 4-strong team of women will be setting off early in the morning on 14th July to undertake a gruelling 26-mile hike across the Lake District in aid of Macmillan Cancer Support. This is a cause that is close to everyone’s heart, as everyone knows someone who has been affected by this horrible disease.
The team are in good hands, as Natalie has been doing this event every couple of years, so she can give them the low-down on the best way to tackle the course around the Lake District as well as provide emotional support over the course of the day!
The Flossy Possy is in the middle of a rigorous training schedule to help prepare them for the challenge, which will include a 10-week training programme that they have started early to ensure that they are ahead of schedule, and have already worked their way up to 11-mile hikes in preparation for the big day
The team have a minimum target of £1000 to raise before they can travel to Cumbria for the hike, which is estimated to take anywhere between 7 and a half and 13 and a half hours.
It is estimated that 1800 hikers will be involved in the event. Making this a massive fundraiser for Macmillan Cancer Support.
To support the Flossy Possy in their Lake District endeavour, please donate to their Just Giving page and help them reach their target ahead of July.
