At Technical Signs, we specialise in bespoke projects. In 2018, we were thrilled to collaborate on a truly magical venture for Harry Potter Studios, right on our doorstep in Watford.
Providing a full turnkey service, our team designed, manufactured, and installed a wide array of bespoke elements to bring this iconic space to life.
This multi-faceted project posed structural, design, and logistical challenges – all expertly navigated with precision and skill.

We created a 3D frog with a steel frame inside to hold the spiral tongue. This was made from steel powder coated gold with attached rings to hold the ice cream cones.
The display was placed onto a turn table with a timer switch.
The Marauder’s Map reveals the location of every being in Hogwarts, including intricate secret passages.
The colossal map graphics were created from 14 large scale digital prints, repeated on opposing internal walls located in the Food Hall.
Every item we crafted was tailored specifically for the studio, delivered on schedule, and to the highest standard.
